This simple snack is easy to throw together and it will keep you full all morning or afternoon! Cannellini beans, also referred to as white kidney beans, are packed with fiber and protein for the number of calories they contain. This makes them an excellent ingredient for making a filling and nutritious dip!

You can enjoy this dip with a number of different veggies, and Real Food Recharge favourites include baby carrots, cucumber, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, kohlrabi or jicama.  If you’ve never tried kohlrabi or jicama (pronounced HICK-a-MA), we encourage you to give them a try! They are both best-served peeled and sliced into rounds or sticks, and they have crunchy and refreshing flavours that each are slightly unique. Like broccoli and cauliflower, kohlrabi is a cruciferous vegetable that is high in anti-cancer and hormone balancing nutrients!
