Conventional recipes for Caesar salad dressing contain egg and cheese, which are both common food sensitivities that can leave you sniffling and tired after your meal! This Caesar-like dressing is instead made with protein-rich hemp seeds to make a thick and creamy dressing, and nutritional yeast to provide a slightly cheesy flavour. Enjoy!

A dairy-free, egg-free dressing for your Caesar salad that won’t leave you sniffling and tired after your meal!
Ingredients
- 6 tbsp hemp seeds
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 2 tsp dijon mustard
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp raw honey
- ½ tsp Herbamare or sea salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a small blender and process on high to combine.
- Use immediately or store refrigerated in a glass container for up to one week.
Notes
Vegan-friendly - Replace raw honey with maple syrup or coconut sugar
No citrus - Replace lemon juice with 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
